How Do I Activate Sensors Purchased From LANA with LANA IoT?

Activating sensors with the LANA IoT platform is a breeze. 

 

  1. You can log in to your LANA IoT account from your phone or tablet. All your available sensors will be shown in your account.
  2. On the each sensor their is a serial number. Use that serial number  to search for the sensor that you would like to update via the assets tab
  3. Here you will have the option to add picture of the location of where you placed/installed the sensor e.g. water heater, you will also be able to add a location name/identifier.

Do Smart Sensors Need to Be Connected to Wi-Fi to Communicate With LANA IoT Platform?

No, your sensors do not need to be connected to Wi-Fi to work with the LANA IoT platform. The LANA IoT Platform uses the LoRaWAN long range network to communicate with LoRaWAN compatible sensors.
